Every batch is built from things we can name. Here is what goes in, and what each one is actually for.
The lather
Silk for glide, castor for bubbles
Tussah silk is infused into the batch for a smooth, low-friction lather. Castor and coconut oils build the thick, stable suds that clean without stripping.
The rinse
Kaolin clay for a clean finish
A mineral slip that carries the lather off the skin instead of leaving it behind. It is why a rich bar can still rinse clean rather than feeling waxy.
The scent
Written in top, heart and base
The Phantom's Elixir opens on dark spiced rum and warm bergamot, settles into smoked vanilla bean and dry cedarwood, and dries down on smouldering amber, black tonka and aged mahogany.
